There are several shipping options available via UPS, our preferred shipper: 

PLEASE NOTE: UPS ONLY GUARANTEES NEXT DAY AIR AND NEXT DAY AIR SAVER. 2ND DAY SHIPPING OPTIONS ARE NO LONGER GUARANTEED! WHICH MEANS IT MAY TAKE UP TO 3 DAYS IF THERE ARE SHIPPING/WEATHER DELAYS. We will only ship 2nd Day packages on Mondays and Tuesdays to avoid any potential delays that would delay your order over the weekend.

UPS Next Day Air:
Next business day delivery by 10:30 a.m., 12:00 noon, or end of day, depending on destination

UPS Next Day Air Saver:
Commercial Destinations-Next business day delivery by 3:00 or 4:30 p.m. where UPS Next Day Air® delivery is committed by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon, respectively
Residential Destinations-Next business day delivery by end of day

UPS 2nd Day Air: (Not guaranteed by UPS)
Delivery by the end of the second business day

UPS 2nd Day Air A.M.: (Not guaranteed by UPS)
Delivery on the second business day by 10:30 a.m. or 12:00 noon to most commercial destinations

We only ship within the Continental U.S. UPS CANNOT deliver to Military Addresses, which include APOs and FPOs.

** NOTE: When calculating shipping rates, UPS will show which methods are available to choose from. If one method does not appear, then that means that this service is not available for the zip code entered.  **

GENERAL NOTES ON SHIPPING:

In general, orders placed via the secure website BEFORE 3:00 p.m. CST will ship out on the FOLLOWING business day (Monday through Thursday only), pending credit card authorization, verification and quantity of orders received that day. Orders received after this time will be shipped within 48 hours. When choosing UPS Next Day Shipping option, orders will be shipped out on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays only.

In order to maintain the highest level of freshness, WE DO NOT SHIP king cakes out on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. In addition, we only ship UPS 2 Day orders out on Mondays and Tuesdays ONLY (since UPS no longer guarantees this service and could take 3 days if UPS has weather or other shipping delays). If an order for 2nd Day Air is received on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, it will be scheduled to ship out on the following Monday.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT UNFORSEEN WEATHER CONDITIONS:

Inclement weather conditions may also cause delays. Even though the final destination may not be in an area threatened by troublesome weather conditions, most packages go through central hubs first that may cause delays. UPS nor Coffee &... can refund any purchase or shipping costs due to unforeseen weather conditions. Please keep this in mind when placing your order. If a signifcant part of the country is dealing with ice or severe weather conditions, you may want to wait until these conditions have subsided before placing your order.

Delivery Delays:

Most deliveries are delivered on-time as requested, but a few are delayed for several reasons. If the shipping address is not current, correct or complete, this will delay the delivery usually by a day while UPS attempts to get the correct address information. Please make sure you double check all shipping addresses and notify us of any changes immediately.

Customers Shipping to Multiple Addresses:

If you have several cakes that need to be shipped to multiple addresses, you can email us a list of the addresses and we can figure the price for you and then contact you for payment information. Please email us at coffeeand@bellsouth.net with the following information:

• Your name and contact information
• Each recipients' full address and telephone number
• The type of king cake you are shipping to each address
• Any gift card information you would like us to include
• The method of shipping you would like
• The requested ship out date

We will contact you with the complete price (including shipping) and get your credit card information as well. Orders sent via email will be processed within 48 hours. If you have not heard from us within 48 hours, please contact us via phone at 504-328-9494 to verify your order has been received.

Requested Ship-out Dates:

If you would like to request a specific date for your order to be received, please place this information in the “Requested Ship-out Date” section during your on-line checkout. We will make every effort to make sure your request is followed, but no guarantees can be made.

Address Validation:

To ensure that your order is delivered to the correct address as quickly as possible, please be careful when entering all information and double check it once again when you receive your order confirmation. You must notify us immediately if there are any typos or errors. We cannot refund any costs due to shipping delays that was entered incorrectly by the customer.

Shipping Areas:

Shipping is available within the Continental U.S. only (Canada, Alaska and Hawaii are NOT included). UPS is unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes, APO, or FPO addresses. Please check our Shipping Information page for other shipping options and restrictions.
